Rare Siberian Tiger Gets A Second Lease In Life

Zolushka, a Siberian tigress, would have died for sure. She was left to fend for herself when she was only a few months old. Less than 400 of these rare creatures exist in the wild. Most of them are killed by poachers, which is what probably happened to Zolushka’s mom. The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) works with partners in far east Russia to rescue and rehabilitate this amazing animal. And now, she’s finally ready to be released in the wild where she belongs.
